NiTinol mainly contains NiTinol and titanium elements, with a relatively simple composition; stainless steel is mainly iron, with various elements such as chromium, NiTinol, and molybdenum added to enhance its performance.
 
Performance
 
- Shape memory and superelasticity: NiTinol has shape memory effect and superelasticity, able to recover its preset shape and restore after large deformation; stainless steel basically does not have these characteristics.
- Hardness: Stainless steel has various hardness levels, with some types having higher hardness; NiTinol usually has relatively moderate hardness.
- Corrosion resistance: NiTinol has good corrosion resistance; the corrosion resistance of different types of stainless steel varies greatly, and is generally slightly weaker than NiTinol.
 
Application Scenarios
 
NiTinol is often used in high-end fields such as medical and aerospace; stainless steel is widely used in daily life, construction, industrial manufacturing, and many other aspects.
