NiTinols are widely used in the electronics field, playing a key role due to their unique properties:
Connectors: Utilizing superelasticity, NiTinol spring contact connectors provide stable and reliable electrical connections for electronic components in high-vibration and impact environments, significantly reducing the risk of poor contact. Their excellent fatigue resistance allows them to withstand frequent plugging and unplugging, significantly extending their service life.
Sensors: Based on the shape memory effect, miniature sensors made of NiTinol are sensitive to external stimuli such as temperature and stress, accurately sensing and quickly converting signals into electrical signals for output. In wearable devices, their low elastic modulus also ensures comfortable contact with the human body, fitting the skin to collect data.
Heat dissipation components: The high thermal conductivity of NiTinols makes them ideal materials for manufacturing heat sinks and radiators, enabling efficient conduction and dissipation of heat generated by electronic components. The shape memory effect also allows them to automatically adjust their shape with temperature changes, optimizing contact with the heat source and further improving heat dissipation efficiency.
Flexible circuits: NiTinol foils are used to manufacture flexible circuit boards, combining good electrical performance with mechanical flexibility. They can stably transmit signals even under repeated bending and twisting, making them suitable for electronic products with high flexibility requirements, such as foldable screen phones and wearable devices.
