  Advantages of Nitinol Stents in the Treatment of Tracheal Stenosis

  Nitinol tubes exhibit excellent biocompatibility, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, surpassing stainless steel. Nitinol is an ideal biomaterial, causing minimal irritation to the tracheal wall. However, like other tracheal stents, Nitinol stents still exhibit local chronic inflammation resulting from foreign body irritation and normal tracheal epithelium, raising reconstruction concerns.

  Nitinol is a novel stent material with high added value. Simultaneously, Nitinol will play an increasingly important role in medical devices. Steel companies with relevant technological reserves should intervene as soon as possible to obtain good returns.

  To achieve welding of the micro-needle tube with 304 stainless steel, the micro-needle tube is 1.8mm * 1.4mm. The stainless steel is 2.5mm * 1.8mm. During welding, the micro-needle tube is inserted into the stainless steel tube to a depth of 4mm. Due to its small size, I went outside to look for some laser welding machines, but the welding failed because the nitinol tube is brittle when heated and easily breaks.
